In partnership with Wake Technical Community College, the Chamber offers a notary public class periodically during the year. The full-day course offers an understanding of the qualifications and requirements to practice as a notary public in North Carolina. Course content includes understanding the Office of Notary Public, general powers, attestation, certification, oaths and affidavits.
Participants take an exam at the end of class and complete the application for becoming a notary public. The Notary Public Guidebook for North Carolina is included in the cost of the class.
Register early; class size is limited to 20 people.
